Your supplier files stay in your browser.

File parsing, price-list comparison, invoice auditing and export creation run locally in your browser. PriceTern does not send your uploaded files or comparison rows to a server. Clearing the workspace or closing the page discards the in-memory data.

Assisted invoice-audit pilot

The assisted pilot is different from the free browser audit. If we accept an application, we agree a separate transfer method before you send the two files needed for the review. Do not attach supplier files to the initial enquiry. PriceTern uses the transferred files only to deliver the accepted audit and deletes working copies and generated output under its control 7 days after delivery.

A pilot application stores the name, work email, business, optional role, workflow description and coarse campaign labels you submit. Do not include invoice contents, supplier names or files. Applications become due for deletion after 30 days and are purged on the next recorded site event. PriceTern uses this information only to assess suitability and reply about the pilot.

What still leaves your device

The hosting service receives ordinary connection information needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address and requested page. If you email PriceTern, your email provider transmits your message and any attachments you choose to include. Please do not email confidential supplier lists for a pilot enquiry.

No advertising trackers

No advertising pixels, cookies, session replay or product-row analytics are installed. PriceTern counts visits to its home page and guides, and counts completed examples, completed comparisons and checkout starts. These event records contain only the page, time and valid campaign, source and medium labels. They do not contain an identifier, email, filename, supplier name, product code, price or comparison result. If you arrive through a tagged campaign link, PriceTern also keeps those campaign labels in this browser session and attaches them to checkout so we can measure which promotion produced a sale. We do not claim that infrastructure logs are anonymous.

Saved report history

Saving a paid report sends the mapped comparison data, including prices and product codes, to the PriceTern database. Saved reports expire after 12 months and can be deleted earlier from the account. Original supplier files are not uploaded or retained by default. Stripe processes payment details; PriceTern does not store card numbers.
